I noted from the Charter for the Ad Hoc Group  that it is supposed to "work
through a dedicated ICANN Public Comment Forum on the ICANN website" to
prepare an Interim Report that is due on May 14, 2000. I assume that this sad
place (itself a testament to the fact that ICANN needs a better public comment
facility) is that dedicated "Public Comment Forum."

As the Interim Report is supposedly due in less than two weeks, can some
member of the Editorial Group provide an update on the Ad Hoc committee's
progress? Is it safe to assume that the May 14 deadline has been extended?
