Actually this seems rather silly |

Mobile comms services shouldn't put the responsibility
on Internet architecture just so they can flood the Internet with additional traffic.
Certainly IPv6 will make this a rather moot argument, but mobile comms service providers
will need to solve this problem for themselves instead of burdening the already limited
address space. At the very least, the use of NAT or some sort of encapsulated protocol
is required here - and there's no reason why mobile comms devices need to operate
strictly via IP.
