I hope that ICANN will make
good its mandate and its promise to keep this important body representative drawn
from the global public. Please remember the vision that the 'net once seemed to be:
much, much more than an electronic shopping mall. Keep the
five (what happened to the nine?) at large positions, keep them elected rather than
appointed!
