The last time ICANN asked for comments everyone got emotional, aggressive, and made
a lot of one-line comments that expressed a strong viewpoint or personal dissatisfaction.
As a result, over 90 percent of the comments were thrown out as non-substantive and
the board never saw them. If you have a strong opinion write it down. Use less
aggressive language. Use logic. Use sources. Above all use plenty of truthful non-exaggerated
examples. If you have a personal feeling tell them what makes you feel that way.
They won't get your comments unless they are substantive. That means you have
a point to make, you make your point, and support it with evidence. Don't give
up!!
