What Happens to My Domains if a Registrar Goes Broke? |
Message: |

I just read the entire Registrar
Accredidation Agreement and found only one reference to if a Registrar goes bankrupt,
ICANN may immediately terminate the Agreement with the Registrar (Sect. N.7)But
as an owner of several domains, what happens to my domain names if I am regstered
with a bankrupt registrar? Do they revert back to NSI? Do I pay for that
reversion? Are the names frozen with the defunct reistrar? Thanks, Lisa
