TLDs seem like a shake-down. |

I've received several unsoliced emails
in the past
few weeks asking me to register my company's domain
name with
several new suffices .info, .biz, .cc,
etc. Each suffix will cost me $35-$300,
and I am
threatened that if I don't register my USPTO
trademarked name, then
someone else will.
Frankly, my .com is doing just fine.This has the look-and-feel
of a shake-down.
It seems to be extortion. Would someone please
explain to
me why this isn't extortion?
Should I alert my state attorney general? Peter
