Re: the failure of Network Solutions
to release expired names. Was informed flatly by them this morning that "government"
regulations prevent them from releasing expired registered names for a period of
up to 2 years. My experience with Network Solutions is that they are very heavy
handed and simply do not wish to remain competitive. Their system is unfriendly,
bulky and now their arrogance on top of it leads me to believe they're colluding
with somebody(sic) simply because their lack of customer service is driving folks
elsewhere. They do need to get with the program.
