Subject: Network Solutions Name Blockage: Chronicled as follows

                I wanted everyone to be aware of the grief I have been going thru with Network Solutions. Network Solutions has repeatedly blocked the transfer of my name MntnWeb.Com to a differant registra. At this time my Domain name is no longer active, however it still is on the whois database, and I cannot register it with a differant company. Network Solutions claim's I owe them money, and I dispute this. I have an invoice clearly stating I owe network solutions money on june 15th for the next term. On June 11 I tried to transfer my domain name to Gandi.Net and Network Solutions blocked the transfer claiming I owed them money. I do not feel that ANY registra has the rights to block a companies name, wheather they claim moneys are owed or not. They are not a legal agency. I am listing the facts of the matter below for all to know what poor company practises Network Solutions has.
June 11 : Attempted to transfer MntnWeb.Com to Gandi.net  transfer blocked by Network solutions. payment to Gandi $11

June 13: call Network Solutions and ask why its blocked am told its because I owed money. I told them I have an invoice stating payment is due on June 15. They claim the real due date is june 11 and I have to pay them $35
at least 1 hr and 30 minutes on hold before speaking to Bertha claim # 1-IT1MA
call started approximately 3 pm. At  4:26 pm  approximatly I hung up the phone due to being on hold so long.

June 13: Called a 2nd time at  4:26 on hold again.  At 4:50 got thru to a supervisor Nadiaa Claim number 1-IS9H3
had to ask John 4 times to let me speak to a Supervisor.  Nadiaa told me they will put me in the VIP queue because I had started the change over on the 11th and many other companies are having problems also.

June 13: 5:10 pm I put thru the change with Gandi a 2nd time. and it fails for the same reason, rejected by Network solutions. Payment to Gandi $11 again.

June 13: 10:43 pm I write to Nadiaa and tell her the request failed again. ( I did not expect a reply at this time, expected an email in the morning)

June 14:  12:02 pm no response from network solutions. I write nadiaa again.

June 14: 1:21 I call again and get another rep, John. He refuses to transfer me to Nadiaa. Claims she is not his supervisor. Does not know any Nadiaa. Finally transfers me when I give him her claim number. 20 minutes on hold.

June 14: Get thru to Nadiaa finally, about another 20 minutes on hold. She says she put the request into the VIP Qeue, but it takes time to process. I told her this has now cost me $22 for both attempts. Nadiaa claims she will call me and email me before the end of the day and let me know the change has gone thru.

June 15: No call or email from Nadiaa. I write her on both email accounts and use Rpost mail tracking to ensure the letters arrive.

June 17: Still no response from network solutions. Rpost shows that email did indeed go to Nadiaas mailbox.

June 19 : I call network solutions again, about 30 minutes on hold. Am told Nadiaa is unavailable. I tell them I want to speak to a higher authority, back on hold again. Nadiaa writes me finally and says she has been out of town for 4 days, Says to call HER back and she will transfer me to 2nd level tech support.

June 19: 12:40 pm, I call to speak to Nadiaa and she is unavailable, I ask to speak to another supervisor, and am transfered to 2nd level support.  finally get thru to 2nd level tech support., about another 30 minutes of hold. Technicians name( Possibly Larry). Technician says Nadiaa was wrong to say they would fix my problem. My only options are to pay them $70 or let the name expire.  Technician absolutley refused to transfer me to any higher authority. Technician did not know  his companies presidents name, would not transfer me to his supervisor. he said he was the highest authority I could talk to. Repeated attempts asking for a higher authority were blatantly refused by the technician.

August 20th MntnWeb.Com is no longer active, yet whois states the name is registerd to myself.
august 23rd I put thru a delete command to Network solutions.
september 3rd MntnWeb is still listed on the who-is and yet I cannot transfer to another company, and the domain does not work.
