When considering the middle east its is
important to note that many middle eastern countries are in North Africa and some
are in the arabian peninsula. If there can be only 5 regions, then those in
North Africa should go with Africa and those like Saudi perhaps in Asia. However,
note too that Iran is closer to Asia but considered an IndoEuropean country.
Perhaps it is not logical to lump Middle Eastern countries together! Are we
considering them 'middle eastern' because of location (not logical) or because they
share a language? (also not logical as Iran does not speak Arabic). What is
the definition of a Middle Eastern country to ICANN?
