new top level domains

Please answer this question, because the answer is quite important to me and
worth quite a lot of money.

At the moment you have top level domains .edu, .org, .net, .com

Will new top-level domains be introduced in the next year or two? I think I
heard that .web will be one such new domain, so you would have ibm.web for
example.
