 Mr. Magaziner has said that he and
 the Clinton admisitration will adhere
 to their stated goals of an open,
 public process. It is encumbant upon
 Mr. Postel and Baptista to join such
 a process, under way here on the IFWP
 mailing list. The nomination process
 for IANA-2 cannot legitimately be
 engaged in private. Only outcome of
 such schemes will be failure. More
 importantly it will be contradiction
 to the US Executive White Paper
 not to mention the spirit of the
 Internet.
