Internet Commerce Association Demands Deletion of Unjustified Anti-Parking Policy in April Draft of New gTLD Applicant Guidebook
The Comments of the Internet Commerce Association regarding the April 2011 draft of the new gTLD Applicant Guidebook (AG) are attached. New AG language that equates parked domains with negative social consequences and costs is unjustified, inappropriate, and at odds with prior ICANN findings and policy, proposed URS evaluation criteria, and WIPO guidance to UDRP examiners. We demand its deletion. Sincerely, Philip S.
