Summary of comments on the Draft of the ALAC Review Report
On 13 June, ICANN posted the draft of the ALAC Review Report for comment.
The comment forum closed on 18 July.
Six comments were received from three individuals.
The main themes of the comments were:
* Support for the observation that ALAC 1.0 (the current ALAC structure) is
different from the interim ALAC
* Appreciation of advice that consideration be given to better regional balance
* Disappointment that the issue of voting seats on the Board was not considered
* Concern that the comment period was too short
* Suggestion that the report needs to have greater focus on the tools that
might be used for communication within ALAC
Comments made in this forum were considered by the Reviewer in the preparation
of the Final version of the report.
