There's an interesting article over at ICANNWATCH [1] on frivolous
WHOIS problem reports [2] generating problems for registrants.
What this boils down to is that registrars -- or at least some of
them -- are failing on the side of short time frames in their
implementation of RAA 3.7.7.2 [3], or even bill registrants when
such reports come in. I would recommend that ALAC take up this
issue with registrars and with relevant ICANN staff in Cape Town.
