I don't know of any incompatibility between service on ALAC and Nom Comm.  That 
was why I suggested all regions might want to send one of the ALAC reps.

I am of course in favour, if you like (though I'm sorry that you're 
leaving us!), but I think we'd better double check the process with 
Jeffreys - as there is an incompatibility between serving on the ALAC 
and serving on the Nomcom, you might be required either to resign before 
the Sao Paulo meeting, or not to participate in Nomcom meetings and 
calls before the end of the Sao Paulo meeting.

Moreover, you will not expire when the MoU is signed, but when the RALO 
appoints the successor: if the process allows, you should plan so that 
the appointment is made in Sao Paulo as well. I can imagine that 
requires electing the LARALO Board and then having it elect the new ALAC 
members, correct? (I don't know what your Bylaws say on that point)

In any case, nothing that can't be solved - we just need to sort things 
out and not make mistakes on the procedural plan.
