Summary of public comments, ASN Global Policy Proposal
The proposed global policy regarding Autonomous System Numbers (ASNs) was
posted for public comments from 16 June 2008 until 7 July 2008.
One single comment was submitted, from Patrick Van De Walle, merely questioning
for how long into the future 4-byte AS Numbers would be sufficient. The comment
neither expresses support for the proposal, nor any objection to it, although
it can be subsumed that the commentor would prefer an extension to even longer
AS Numbers than 4 bytes.
