Zahid
Thank you for letting us know.
I wanted to put on record my thanks for and recognition of Gary's
stellar work on behalf of the constituency. At many times it's been a
thankless, stressful, awkward, volatile, personal, political task. To
have done it for nine years is a wonderful contribution to the ICANN
community and the business users.
I hope that we find an appropriate gift and the correct time to
present it to Gary.
Kind regards.

Dear Members,
After almost nine years of service to the BC, Gary Hills, has
tendered his resignation as BC secretariat.
We have agreed with him a termination date of 31 12 2009.
On behalf of all members we would like to thank Gary for his
excellent service to the Constituency.
The Officers will be looking for a replacement and ask members also
if they have any suggestions.
To avoid conflicts of interest and to ensure accountability to the
BC executive committee this position is not open to a BC member.
Gary will be drafting a job description to help in the process of
recruitment.
That description will factor in optional services available from
ICANN.
