BC participation in ICANN Public Comment processes: ICANN Public Comment page is at http://www.icann.org/en/public-comment/ Selected Public Comments open at this time: (in order of comment closing dates) 1: Interim report on internationalized registration data (14-Mar) 2: Proposed changes to GNSO procedures for declaring Councilor interests (26-Mar) 3: Inter-registrar transfer policy – proposed final report (31-Mar) 4: proposed GNSO policy development process (1-Apr) 5: framework for FY2012 operating plan and budget (4-Apr) 6: study proposal for issues related to IDN variant TLDs (6-Apr) 7: SSR Review Team (AoC) Set of Issues (6-Apr) 8: Post-expiration domain name recovery, WG final report (7-Apr) 9: recommendations for Global Outreach Program (10-Apr) 10: WHOIS Review Team (AoC) seeking input on scope of work (17-Apr) Note: BC members are encouraged to submit individual or company comments on any topic. Should they be adopted or posted for further comment? Item 5: Responding to Board resolution asking GNSO for definitions & metrics for AOC terms (consumer choice, consumer trust, and competition). Several BC members have volunteered. Councilor Rosemary Sinclair has not contacted our volunteers and will share her proposed response. Item 6: Joint SSR working group - draft charter and team composition. Staff posted an analysis of "Privacy & Proxy Relay & Reveal". Council must decide which of remaining 3 studies (Registrant Identification, Proxy and Privacy "abuse" and this Relay and Reveal study) staff should initiate.
