Here is the latest BC policy calendar, for use during 1-Sep-2011 BC member call.
Channel 1. BC participation in ICANN Public Comment process:

1. Post-expiration domain name recovery (PEDNR) recommendations for board 
consideration (15-Sep)

2. Public comments process enhancements (per ATRT recommendations)   (30-Sep)

Note: BC members are encouraged to submit individual / company comments.  Based 
on member interest, the BC selects topics on which to submit official positions.
Channel 2. Support for discussion and votes of our representatives on GNSO 
Council
GNSO Project Status available at

Agenda and motions for 22-Sep GNSO Council teleconference not yet published.  
Expected items include:

Motion on remaining recommendations of Registration Abuse Policies (RAP) WG.   
BC's recommended amendments are in the attached document.

Current draft definitions are something like:

Consumer Trust is the degree of confidence among registrants and users that a 
TLD registry operator is fulfilling its proposed purpose and is complying with 
ICANN policies and relevant national laws.

Consumer Choice is evident in the range of options available to registrants and 
users for domain scripts and languages, and for TLDs that offer choices as to 
the proposed purpose and integrity of their domain nameregistrants.

Competition is evident in the quantity and diversity of TLD registry operators 
and registrars.
