(OTA) has organized a 1-day workshop to assess ICANN's new plan to manage
domain name collisions with new gTLDs.

Verisign.

There's no charge to participate, and there will be remote participation
capability.

When: Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (EDT)

Join OTA and industry leaders for a discussion on the risk and consequences of
domain collisions resulting from the delegation of new gTLDs. This full-day
multi-stakeholder workshop will review the open issues and help develop
remediation plans to address the impending risk of Domain Collision. Not
unlike Y2K and the recent efforts to address the threats of DNSChanger exploit,
the business community, industry and infrastructure providers need to work
together to understand the risks and how to prepare for them.
