Much is at stake in the .BIZ, .INFO, .ORG registry agreements. It is obvious to
all honest and intelligent participants that removing registration and renewal
fee caps will promote registry exploitation. Clear renewal fee restrictions and
built-in safeguards are mandatory. .TV is not a precedent on which .BIZ, .INFO,
and .ORG registry agreements should be modeled. We are much, much too far along
in the personal investment and development of these extensions to jerk the rug
out from under legitimate business men and women who supported these tld's.
Whether a registrant renews a corresponding domain name for 1 year or 50 years
provides no justifaction whatsoever for a registry to financially gouge the
registrant. Do not create or allow a registry loophole that removes protection
from dramatic price increases. That is unconscionable. It cannot be justified.
