16 Years Of Business Investment Possibly In Tatters?

Dear Sirs

I am extremely disturbed at the information I have read in the specialised 
domain name press and forum boards.
As a small business owner I have invested all my life's savings and efforts 
during the past 16 years with the belief that my Government's, and many 
other Governments, information was correct and Academia forecasts were on 
firm footing to promote The Internet as "the 21st Century way of doing 
business".
Am I now supposed to blindly accept that without any personal consultation 
and at the stroke of a pen, that all of my hard work will now become 
totally worthless since I may not be able to afford my domain name renewal 
fees?
I am, for one, certainly not able to hold a gun to my customers' heads and 
force them to pay me more to enable me to continue running an Internet 
business.
These proposals are not only Draconian, they are an offence to all the 
free-willed people and nations of the World.
This must not be allowed.
