Dear ICANN,
I urge you to REFUSE ALL tiered pricing models for the .biz, .info
and .org TLDs.
The tiered (or variable) pricing idea is the worst one I've seen
emerge from ICANN. The simple fact you're considering such an ugly
proposition shows you have little or no respect for the small
entrepreneurs (and even the bigger ones) who count on a fixed (and
very low) price to keep their domain names.
The ICANN is basically considering to make a few "registrar" buddies
richer and the whole world VERY unhappy... and pissed. Tiered pricing
doesn't have its place online, not now nor in the future.
This tiered pricing nightmare could bring down the internet by
stiffling innovation and locking out the little guys, therefore
making the internet a "dead end" avenue for anything because any
potential success will be taxed.
Tiered pricing taxes innovation, ideas, creativity and the human
spirit. The ICANN should be immediately dissolved should any tiered
pricing be seriously considered.
Please eliminate ALL TIERED PRICING scheme NOW.
Thank you,
