To the Board of Directors of ICANN,
I don't know much about your reasons and motive behind this variable pricing,
but I assume you derived your wish from some people that are dumb enough to
believe that their domain name is worth so many millions. If this concept ever
comes to life, then I suggest you also use the same extortion for Post Office
rental boxes for anyone you think their businesses are making real money, too.
Taking this even further, I would charge more money to deliver letters and
items to some of the rich people who have nice homes, too. If the don't like
your idea, just sell their address to some richer guys including taking their
full name away.
Not sure you are smart enough to know that the domain name is just a name
points to a known IP somewhere in the world! In other words, Yahoo.com and
Google.com are worthless if there is not useful services and/or products
offerred at those sites and not even be known to anyone if they did not spend
millions or billions in ads and developments!
As crazy as this may sounds, I can not believe we actually pay people to
legally scamming people. Just leave America and the internet world alone
because we already have enough enemies and madness!
Final note, I can't wait until some rich guy buy the ICANN.ORG and make you
pay every penny you ever earned and see how you would feel. Oh! I forgot that
you guys don't make money, you just take money :(((
