The Intellectual Property Constituency ("IPC") of the GNSO has reviewed
the revised proposal submitted by the Czech Arbitration Court ("CAC") to
become a UDRP provider
(http://www.icann.org/announcements/announcement-2-12nov07.htm) and
believes that the IPC's previously expressed concerns
(http://forum.icann.org/lists/cac-proposal/msg00004.html) have been
adequately addressed. The IPC has further suggested to CAC a change (for
clarification) to the definition of "Working Days" in the CAC's
Supplemental Rules, which the CAC's representative, Zbynek Loebl, has
informed the IPC is acceptable to CAC. Accordingly, the IPC endorses
CAC's proposal and recommends that ICANN approve CAC's application.
Steve Metalitz, IPC president
