Dear sirs,
ICANN should NOT delete the .SU ccTLD. Maybe you have to switch its
status from ccTLD to sTLD (sponsored TLD). So:
1. NO! The 21st century has a huge internet-based community. It is not
the time ICANN deleted .DD or .NATO. Thousands of sites live with
the domains like .SU, .YU, .TP, .INT. Many businesses made lots of
investments to promote their business recognition in the internet.
2. Even if a sponsoring organization is starting a process of the TLD
deletion it should not be accepted. ICANN should undertake the
responsibility for the to-be-deleted domain and run a tender to select
a new operator for the domain.
3. Until there is at least ONE live site. Like .GB that had only one
site during the last decade.
4. No test.
5. If a TLD removed the owner of the second level domain should have a
right to register its own first level domain with the same name.
6. Both new and old domain should be operational until the old one has
at least ONE working site.
