GAC input to the CCWG accountability
Dear CCWG and its Co-Chairs, dear Leon, Mathieu and Thomas The GAC has been taking efforts to come up - once more after its input into the CCWG Face2Face meeting in Paris in mid July - with a coordinated input into the CCWG process. We have been doing our best in a very short time period to agree on an input from the GAC regarding its involvement in the proposed Community Mechanism. (see document attached). Further, I would like to inform the CCWG that GAC members are continuing to discuss Stress Test 18 and the proposed changes to the bylaws and that the GAC is looking forward to participating actively in the CCWG's work in the run up to the ICANN 54 meeting in Dublin next month. In its future deliberations on enhancing ICANN's accountability, the GAC will also look into and assess the views expressed by others in the public comment period, including the comments from the ICANN board. The GAC is looking forward to continuing to contribute constructively to the future work of the CCWG on enhancing accountability. Best regards Thomas Thomas Schneider Chair ICANN Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC) Attachment:
