Closed gTLDs would be anti-competitive

On behalf of ScienceLogic, Inc. I would like to register our objection to 
closed generic TLDs. As already noted in comments from Microsoft, VMware and 
many others in the public forum on this matter, allowing a small number of 
commercial organizations exclusive control over generic TLDs such as .cloud 
would bestow an unfair competitive advantage on those organizations to the 
detriment of the industry as a whole.
We urge ICANN not to allow sale of closed generic TLDs, these should be 
available for open registries only.
