To follow up on the previous email, please kindly find attached the ratified 
version of the ALAC Statement on the Report: Supporting the Domain Name 
Industry in Underserved Regions. Please kindly note that only the ratification 
information has been added to the staff introduction section of the Statement.

On 31 July 2014, Staff confirmed that the online vote resulted in the ALAC 
endorsing the Statement with 12 votes in favor, 1 vote against, and 0

thanks for your kind acknowledgement. Just to let you know, this *is* the final 
version. The ALAC vote is only a ratification vote and since the current 
version has found consensus, it is expected that the vote will support the 
Statement and is therefore nothing more than a formality.

Dear All,

Please kindly find attached the ALAC Statement on the Report: Supporting the 
Domain Name Industry in Underserved Regions.

Please note that Olivier Crépin-Leblond, Chair of the ALAC, requested that 
Staff open an ALAC ratification vote on the proposed Statement on 23 July 2014 
and close on 30 July 2014.

The Chair then requested that the Statement be transmitted to the Public 
Comment process, copying the ICANN Staff member responsible for this Public 
Comment topic, with a note that the Statement was pending ALAC ratification.

On 31 July 2014, online vote results in the ALAC will be published and a 
Statement incorporating an updated Staff introduction section will be submitted.
