Joint Comment of the Business Constituency, Intellectual Property Constituency, and Registry Stakeholder Group
On behalf of the Business Constituency, Intellectual Property Constituency, Registry Stakeholder Group, please find attached our joint comment regarding "Implementing Rights Protection Mechanisms in the Name Collision Mitigation Framework." We are pleased to provide this joint comment, which resulted from community discussions following up on the Joint Letter from the Business Constituency, Intellectual Property Constituency, and Registry Stakeholder Group send to the New gTLD Program Committee on July 17. The attached comment represents the results of these discussions. Although in some cases formal votes on the comment may still be pending by the relevant group, this comment has been reviewed by each of the Business Constituency, Intellectual Property Constituency, and Registry Stakeholder Group. In the event that individual groups' internal mechanisms require a formal vote on this matter, the relevant group will submit a follow-up note expressing its support for this comment during the reply period.
