Private information should be kept private. This is important for freedom
and free speech. A blogger expressing a controversial opinion on a website
can do so without worrying about physical backlash from people who know who
they are and where they live.

Requiring this information to be exposed would mean that people on social
media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and Pinterest who have
websites would suddenly have their personal names and address revealed
which I believe would cause increased self censorship and potential
hardship for them.

In regards to the proposed rules governing companies that provide WHOIS
privacy services (as set forth in the Privacy and Policy Services
Accreditation Issues Policy document):

I urge you to respect internet users' rights to privacy and due process.
- Everyone deserves the right to privacy.
- No one’s personal information should be revealed without a court order,
regardless of whether the request comes from a private individual or law
enforcement agency.
Thank you
