Dear ICANN –

Regarding the proposed rules governing companies that provide WHOIS privacy
services (as set forth in the Privacy and Policy Services Accreditation
Issues Policy document):

I urge you to respect internet users' rights to privacy and due process.
- Everyone deserves the right to privacy.
- No one’s personal information should be revealed without a court order,
regardless of whether the request comes from a private individual or law
enforcement agency.

DCMA Requests already provide the power to govern the internet, trough
court orders civil lawsuits can take place without being obstructed by
WHOIS data protectors.

This change that is being proposed will have an effect only on the
newcomers, the entry-level webmasters. Why do small webmasters which fall
under the broad "commerical website" aspect have to share their home
address and mobile phone numbers?


Please, do not open up our homes to abuse. Protect our privacy, it's worth
something!

Private information should be kept private. Thank you.
