Dear ICANN,
Regarding the proposed rules governing companies that provide WHOIS privacy
services (as set forth in the Privacy and Policy Services Accreditation
Issues Policy document):
As a small business owner, it is helpful not to have my personal
information published for the domains I own. It would expose the location
of my home and private contact information. I need to keep a separation
between my private and professional life, which is difficult if any of my
customers can look it up via WHOIS search.
Please keep our information private. I don't mind if the registrar has my
information so that government or other organizations with a need to know
can look it up, but my private information does not need to be listed
publicly.
Thanks, Mike
