There is no need to have
domain registrations "private". Too many times individuals use
that to "hide" their identity to use domain sites for fraudulent
reasons. Let's not give them any help!

An individual wanting to conceal their addresses from others, (domestic
disputes, etc.) can rent a P.O. Box and list that as the contact
address.

Historically, domain contact information has been available via a
whois lookup going back to when Network Solutions was the only
registrar in town. It was only when registrars saw an
"opportunity" to gain additional revenue (as they charge for
privacy, which should tell you right away it is not a "right") for
this "privacy" service. In March 2005, the National
Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) said that
owners of .us domains will not have the option of keeping their
information private, and that it must be made public. As a result,
you see far less fraud being committed using a .us domain.

Put a stop to it now, don't have the wool pulled over your eyes.
Keep a clear vision.

Thank you for listening.
