In support of the privacy of WHOIS information

I am writing to request that the WHOIS information currently kept private
by WHOIS protection services continue to remain private.
This information should never be exposed without a court order, whether it
is requested by law enforcement, private individuals, or businesses.
Requiring any website involved in "commercial activity" to expose the
private information of those individuals running the website is an
unreasonable violation of both the privacy and property rights of those
individuals. The only justification for violating their privacy is if the
website is involved in illegal activity. The existing process of requiring
a court order is sufficient to protect both the rights of the accused and
the accuser.
