Dear ICANN,
Is it okay if I call you ICANN? I don't really know your last name. So
listen, I get that this is a pre-written letter and you've probably gotten
a million of them but I agree very strongly with the statements contained
within. So, I ask you to please re-read it and let it help you make a
choice that's best for people, and not the entertainment industry:
Regarding the proposed rules governing companies that provide WHOIS privacy
services (as set forth in the Privacy and Policy Services Accreditation
Issues Policy document):
I urge you to respect internet users' rights to privacy and due process.
- Everyone deserves the right to privacy.
- No one’s personal information should be revealed without a court order,
regardless of whether the request comes from a private individual or law
enforcement agency.
Private information should be kept private. Thank you.
Sincerely,
--Andrew Ferguson
PS. If you can, let me know when you're gonna release .dad domains? I
really want to buy yourenotmyreal.dad
