Privacy issues on verify commercial activity of personal websites

Dear ICANN
ICANN is not a commercial registrant of economic activity. 

Due the existence of national registers for commercial websites, this mission 
exceed the competence of a trusted domain authority for verify the economic 
activity of a personal website or blog.


Regarding the proposed rules governing companies that provide WHOIS privacy:

- Everyone deserves the right to privacy.
- No one’s personal information should be revealed without a court order, 
regardless of whether the request comes from a private individual or law 
enforcement agency.
