Domain Privacy

Dear ICANN,
With the current public opinion not being in favor of the proposed Whois
privacy rule changes, I urge you to take a serious look at this. There is
no reason that a small group of people tasked with the sacred job of
keeping the Internet open and organized should take a step that would
betray many people's privacy. Some domain name holders need this privacy
for their own safety, to protect them from threats that could be carried
out. This could seriously censor content on the Internet. Some need privacy
to protect their own information from spammers and hackers. Please take a
long, serious look at this matter, how it will affect the Internet, its
users, and the very legacy of the ICANN and its members. Thanks so much!
