Dear ICANN –

I have a strong objection to release of personal information. I live in
a small rural area and it would be too easy for someone to locate my
residence should they view me on a video on my website and decide they'd
like to meet me or some other such strange notion.

This idea that you can publish home information for a commercial website is not
merely an instrusion of privacy, it can actually be dangerous for people with
small to medium-sized companies which sell products that mentally unbalanced
people may find offensive, or
not in line with their own beliefs, or someone who becomes infatuated
and begins to stalk the website owner. This is just a really horrendous
 idea overall.

Regarding the proposed rules governing companies that provide WHOIS
privacy services (as set forth in the Privacy and Policy Services
Accreditation Issues Policy document):

I urge you to respect internet users' rights to privacy and due process.

- Everyone deserves the right to privacy.

- No one’s personal information should be revealed without a court
order, regardless of whether the request comes from a private individual
 or law enforcement agency.

Private information should be kept private. Thank you.
