Dear ICANN –

Regarding the proposed rules governing companies that provide WHOIS privacy
services (as set forth in the Privacy and Policy Services Accreditation Issues
Policy document):

I urge you to respect internet users' rights to privacy and due process.
- Everyone deserves the right to privacy.
- No one’s personal information should be revealed without a court order,
regardless of whether the request comes from a private individual or law
enforcement agency.

This single "evolution" in privacy for domain ownership is critical. Not only
protecting the safety of individuals, but eliminating scams used to siphon
money from small businesses. Before domain privacy I would get 100's of
phishing attacks designed to steal my domain or the identity of me or my
company. These attacks completely evaporated after my public domain information
was removed. For distributes, the legal system can be used, as it was designed,
to unveil domain owners when necessary. Anyone requesting that domain privacy
be repealed has only one reason: unfettered harassment of domain and business
owners.

Private information should be kept private.

Thank you.
