Dear ICANN –

Regarding the proposed rules governing companies that provide WHOIS privacy
services (as set forth in the Privacy and Policy Services Accreditation
Issues Policy document):

I urge you to respect internet users' rights to privacy and due process.
- Everyone deserves the right to privacy.
- No one’s personal information should be revealed without a court order,
regardless of whether the request comes from a private individual or law
enforcement agency.

I use and always have used my website as a professional portfolio for much
of my digital design work, and have operated as a remote consultant. I
should not have to publicise my residential address which has nothing to do
with my online portfolio, or my place of work. It's hard enough as it is to
have creepy stalkers try to solicit information from me over social
networks, and looking up my address will change cyber harassment into the
kind found on my doorstep and following me to work. Along with my
selectively published personal internet data, this extra confidential piece
of identifying information could strengthen their ability to hack my
government-based services and friends network.

I urge you not to consider disclosing this. People who use the internet for
exploiting others and services will be further ENabled, not disabled.

Private information should be kept private. Thank you.
