 Dear ICANN -

Regarding the proposed rules governing companies that provide WHOIS privacy
services (as set forth in the Privacy and Policy Services Accreditation
Issues Policy document):

I urge you to respect internet users' rights to privacy and due process.
- Everyone deserves the right to privacy.
- No one's personal information should be revealed without a court order,
regardless of whether the request comes from a private individual or law
enforcement agency.

What is the intended purpose of forcing internet users to publish their
personal details anyway?

I don't see how this can be beneficial to anyone other that potential
spammers and fraudsters.

We get enough spam and fraud as it is! Surely this proposal will only
increase that threat?

Private information is private for a reason, and should only be made public
with agreement of the person to whome it relates.

Private information should be kept private at all costs.

 Thank you.
