ICANN - Respect Our Privacy
Dear ICANN – Regarding the proposed rules governing companies that provide WHOIS privacy services (as set forth in the Privacy and Policy Services Accreditation Issues Policy document): As the owner of multiple domains for personal and communication purposes, I find it outrageous that a proposal to strip away my right to own a domain privately is being given any serious consideration. This policy disproportionately impacts individuals and their ability to engage in free speech, since they cannot afford the IT and legal teams for privacy protection that a large corporation can.
