Dear ICANN –

Regarding the proposed rules governing companies that provide WHOIS privacy
services (as set forth in the Privacy and Policy Services Accreditation Issues
Policy document):

Without Whois registration privacy law enforcement authorities can use the
ICANN directory to shortcut the due process of law and other domestic
safeguards.

On the internet, people - big and small, and companies - big and small, have
the opportunity to do great and amazing things. Things like exposing crime and
corruption, starting companies, or writing blogs that represent your interests.
All of these things are protected by the ability to keep your identities
private on this world-wide reaching internet.

I urge you to respect internet users' rights to privacy and due process.
- Everyone deserves the right to privacy.
- No one’s personal information should be revealed without a court order,
regardless of whether the request comes from a private individual or law
enforcement agency.

Private information should be kept private. Thank you.

Zack Bosquez
