Dear ICANN,

I has recently been brought to my attention that there are proposed changes
to the rules governing businesses that provide WHOIS privacy to domain
holders. The proposed changes have been set forth in the Privacy and Policy
Services Accreditation Issues Policy document.

As a business owner and domain holder, privacy and security matters to me
and I wish to preserve both to the utmost extent. A domain holder should
not be obliged to publish personal information as the disclosure of such
information can expose the domain holder to abuse. Further still, a
domain's intended use should not be a determining factor in who and who
isn't exempt from privacy.

The personal information of domain holders should be private. In the
absence of a court order, the disclosure of any such information should be
at the sole discretion of the domain holder.

The ICANN should empower businesses and individuals to communicate
information easily and effectively without placing stipulations on what
information must be communicated.

Thank you for your consideration.
