ICANN - Respect Our Privacy

Dear ICANN,

I am deeply concerned about this potential new rule regarding WHOIS
services.

While I understand the need to protect people, protect rights holders,
protect intellectual property, we also very much need to be careful to not
do this at the expense of privacy for the vast majority of people.

I urge you to respect internet users' rights to privacy and due process.
- Everyone deserves the right to privacy.
- No one’s personal information should be revealed without a court order,
regardless of whether the request comes from a private individual or law
enforcement agency.

Private information should be kept private. Thank you.
