To ICANN:
With regards to the proposed change to the WHOIS policy forcing
owner identifiable information, I as someone who has used the WHOIS
database to look up domain contact information, find this to be a bad
idea.
The loss of anonymity, for those that choose it, is not worth the
cost as has been proven in the past. See for example:

This will also make it easier, in some cases, for those that use
Registrars lack policy enforcement to transfer domains from those that
own them, by having identifiable information on the owner of the
domain.
Even with a domain being marked as private, there are ways to
contact the actual owner.
ICANN should not change the policy on how WHOIS information is handled.
