Dear ICANN,

Regarding the proposed rules governing companies that provide WHOIS privacy
services (as set forth in the Privacy and Policy Services Accreditation Issues
Policy document):

Please respect internet users' rights to privacy and due process.
- Everyone deserves the right to privacy.
- No one’s personal information should be revealed without a court order,
regardless of whether the request comes from a private individual or law
enforcement agency.

Despite the sense of this being a minor change, it is likely to have major
implications, in that it sets a precedent for the next evolutionary step that
the web takes.

Privacy is important - a court order has historically been the barrier for
revealing a person's identity, and it should remain that way.

Thank you for your time ;-)

Sincerely - Jerome Baker
