Summary of public comments for contractual compliance report

 

November 2007

 

 

 

 

Background

 

The contractual compliance published its first semi-annual report in
October, summarizing ICANN's audit activities from January through to
September.

 

This public comment period was set up to allow the community to provide
feedback and comments on that report. In total, one relevant comment was
received.

 

This analysis attempts to summarize the relevant comments from the online
forum

Where possible and practical, individual comments have been attributed to
individuals or organizations by attaching initials to the comments.  A key
to the initials used can be found at the end.

 

 

 

General comments

 

The question was raised whether ICANN should publicly name those companies
that it felt had infringed the terms of their agreement with ICANN [DY].
