To whom it may concern:

Please approve the formation of the newly proposed CyberSafety Constituency.
Online safety for children is an ever-increasing need of utmost importance. I
feel strongly that the formation of this constituency will be very beneficial
in the discussion and implementation of new ideas and policies for making the
Internet better for all.

Sincerely,

Matthew Greenwood

Dear Friends,

PLEASE READ!

Today may be the most important day in the struggles against the destructive
forces of internet porn, and the attorneys, companies, politicians, and
individuals who protect them.

The bottom line is that your voice, the voice of "family values", "children's
rights", "moral convictions", "decency", etc., is never heard because it has no
seat at the table. If we are going to stem the tide of filth and evil we must
stand up and TAKE A SEAT or SEATS where we can do the most good.

Early in CP80 history we developed many strategies, as the enemy attacks from
several fronts. Though many know us as the creators of the "Internet Zoning
Initiatives and Legislation", we have also been very active in non legislative
approaches such as our involvement with Internet Governing Bodies like ICANN
(International Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers). We have worked very
hard to create a new constituency within the Non-Commercial Stakeholders Group
within ICANN. It has taken us around the world, and we have presented in
forums to great support in Brazil, Paris, Egypt, and most recently Mexico. We
are only lacking the support from YOU!

Important decisions may be made in the next few days. CP80 and others
concerned with Internet safety have worked very hard to obtain the opportunity
for broader participation in ICANN and its Internet governance policies. The
ICANN Board is looking for expressions of interest and input on the final
charter forms to be adopted. The restructuring of the GNSO to permit a
broadening of the representation of non-commercial interests is at an important
turning point. They need to know that YOU represent a large enough body to
justify this new charter. If we are successful, this new constituency will
represent the first moral voice in creating non legislative policies for the
protection of families and children online.

I know you are busy, but I ask you today to please take just a few minutes and
follow the instructions below.

Please send an email to
Heidi.Ullrich@xxxxxxxxx<mailto:Heidi.Ullrich@xxxxxxxxx>, indicating in the
subject line that you support the formation of a CyberSafety Constituency and
the representation of minority voices on the GNSO Council (the policy-making
structure for ICANN’s international Internet governance). Or, cut and paste
from the "Sample Letter" below. A statement in support need not be a
commitment to participate. Any comments about the goals of the CyberSafety
constituency or the need for representation of families, children, and other
victims of Internet abuse will be helpful at this turning point in the
development of the Internet governance.

I have attached the description of the Charter. Please add to it as you see
fit. If you are also interested to participate in this organization, please
let me know.

If you have any questions please call me today! (801) 995-4080

I thank you in advance. Please forward this to friends and interested parties.

Warmest Regards,

Ralph Yarro
Chairman/Founder
CP80 Foundation
